Onsite & Remote IT Support
We can look after your file servers and PC systems by visiting your offices or works, or we can connect remotely to save us both some time and cost!
We are happy to work with you on a break/fix, ad hoc basis in that when you break your IT systems, we’ll try to fix them again for you. Or, we offer our regular clients a file server support agreement which is usually paid monthly (we don’t ask you to sign up for any lengthy support contracts).
For our monthly fee, we monitor your server making sure that all the bug fixes and security upgrades which Microsoft releases get applied quickly, and in the correct order. We monitor the system error logs and attend to any problems which get reported, often before you have even noticed that there is a problem, we monitor the backups and sort out any issues with them and also look after the Sophos Security upgrades for the server and the PCs.
The agreement is supposed to be for the server only, but we usually attend to all the little niggles you get with the PCs, printers, broadband, etc as well, although any major non-server problems must be looked at outside of the server support agreement.
We also include an off site backup licence and 10Gb of data space in the support fee, with an option to upgrade if you need more space. The backups are scheduled to happen nightly over broadband.
Our monthly Server support fee is £179 for a smallish network consisting of a few PCs (up to around ten) and a file server running either Microsoft Server or Microsoft Small Business Server. We can also cover Microsoft Exchange Server (and Microsoft just-about-anything-else Server) and would love to talk to you about how we can help to make your IT network as reliable as possible.
