Our
qualified and experienced staff are able to help ensure that your IT
infrastructure runs as trouble free as possible, provides you with the
service you require from it, and is efficiently attended to within the
shortest possible time in times of problems.
Ad Hoc call outs
and pre booked support jobs
Our standard charge rate for call outs is £45 for the first half hour on
site and then £35 per half hour (or part of) subsequent to that. We
cover much of South West England/the West Country (Somerset, Devon,
Dorset and Wiltshire). If we
are able to help you without the need to travel to you then the call out
charge is waived and you go straight on to the £35 per half hr rate.
We offer a full day rate of £395 if a technician is booked in advance
for the whole day.
Standard hours are 09.00 to 17.30. We may be able to book jobs to be
carried out outside of those hours but the ½ hourly rate would be
subject to a surcharge (agreed in advance).
PC Support Plan
- Emergency & Regular Maintenance Cover for a PC running a Microsoft
Windows Operating System
Our PC Support Plan is designed
to help keep PCs running as reliably and dependably as possible by
ensuring protective measures such as anti-virus software, firewalls and
security updates are all installed and operating correctly. We also
check, where appropriate, that the System Restore settings are correct
and working so that in the event of serious software problems we can
"wind back" your system to a time when it was working properly.
We install
remote connection software on to each PC enabling us to log on
regularly
to check the system settings in addition to remedying any
issues which we come across or help with any problems which we are
notified of. We can often do this in the evenings to minimise disruption
during working hours for you.

In the event of problems with your
PCs such as corrupted files caused by malware or hardware problems,
programmes coming up with unusual errors or not behaving as they
normally do, etc we will do what we can to help you. Some problems can
be solved, or worked around but some may require the system software to
be completely re-installed. All of that is included in the above
fees and you should expect no further labour charges
from us for fixing your PC, although any replacement hardware parts
would, of course, have to be paid for. We do what we can to recover data
for you but in cases where it can't be recovered we have to revert to
the last good backup. We can send the hard disk away for more specialist
assistance with data recovery if there is no backup of crucial data but
that would be subject to extra fees. Remember - Backup, it's
better in the long run.
Server Support
Plan
– Emergency & Maintenance Cover for a File Server running
Microsoft Server or
Microsoft Small Business Server
Our Server Support Plan is designed to help get clients out of trouble
as quickly as possible in the event of a major problem with their file
server' whilst also allowing provision for a technician to help with the
day to day “niggles” which all IT networks suffer from.
Initially we will try and solve problems over the phone, by remote
connection to your server or by an onsite call out – which ever is the
most convenient for you and Delta PC and is likely to provide the
quickest fix.
If the problem cannot be resolved by phone or remote login
then an onsite visit will be arranged as quickly as possible.
Whilst the primary purpose of the agreement is for the support and
maintenance of the file server and its operating system, the backup
software and anti-virus software (if installed) we are also
happy to include advice and fixes for minor
niggles which may crop up
on the networked PCs but would ask you to note that more major problems
with the PCs are treated separately and are subject to the ad-hoc or PC
Support Plan rates shown above.
The cost of the Server Support Plan is £149 per month,
payable in advance in three monthly blocks (ie £447 per qtr). There is a
“Fair Usage” policy attached to this plan of 32 x 30 min blocks per
month. During the period of the plan Delta PC would make no further
charges for call out fees or technicians time subject to its falling
within the Fair Usage allocation.
Prior to the initial commencement of cover, we may
need to arrange a site visit for one of our technicians to setup the
links for remote connection, backup monitoring, virus and network
security monitoring, etc. This service would be subject to a “setup fee”
inline with those for a regular onsite visit as shown above and is
dependent on us being able to establish remote connection links to the
network via either Microsoft Remote Web Workspace, Logmein or similar
software.
