Perfect for both office and home ethernet networks
Very easy to install and use, Powerline ethernet network adaptors plug straight in to any 3 pin mains socket. They will automatically detect one another and form an 85mbps powerline ethernet network between themselves using your existing mains wires rather than requiring you to install specialised network cable.

A powerline ethernet network is also useful if network connections are required in a room, but only for a short time (say a temporary meeting or classroom, for example). The network can be set up very quickly, and uninstalled just as quickly leaving no holes in walls, cables or other damage or clutter behind.

Ideal for networking larger, older or Listed Buildings
There can be few people who have not experienced the frustration of the problems walls and ceilings cause to wireless networks, with signal drop-outs, network slow downs and interruptions being all too common. Powerline ethernet network adapters are an ideal way to get around those problems in buildings where the thickness of walls and ceilings cause problems with wireless networks, and also for buildings where it is difficult (or undesirable) to install cat 5 & cat 6 network cables (Listed Buildings, or temporary offices for example).

As well as being useful for PC or Mac network connections, a powerline ethernet network adapter can be used for networking laser and ink jet printers, for phone systems using voip and for use in the home to connect games consoles to the ethernet network and the internet.

You will need a minimum of 2 powerline ethernet network adapters to make a network and our special powerline starter pack is a good place to begin.

Faster, 200mbps powerline ethernet network adaptors are also available and are commonly used in offices and homes for connecting together audio/video devices to distribute video signals and presentations, music and other mp3 files.
