Professional models as shown below. These recorders allow connection
of single or multiple camera installations, recording high
resolution images, from several cameras at the same time if
necessary, to built-in hard disks and can record files to CD and DVD
writers if fitted. They can be connected to a LAN (Local Area
Network) so that they can be viewed and reviewed either over the
network, or over the internet with a suitable Router and Broadband
connection.
