The DrayTek product range includes broadband adsl routers, firewalls, wireless access points, switching products, ADSL modems and accessories. The sections below give summaries of each of the series.
The Draytek Vigor 2710 and 2110 series are routers for the SoHo (Small Office & Home Office) user. They provide excellent performance and security, as well as dial-out VPN connectivity, ideal for the teleworker. For families, these models provide extensive content filtering, allowing control over what your users or family have access to on the web, or set time schedules.
The top-selling Draytek Vigor 2830 series is the premium ADSL router featuring great flexibility and a vast feature set. It provides triple WAN connectivity - ADSL, Ethernet (for a secondary broadband modem) and USB for a 3G (Cellular) modem/dongle. The WAN ports can provide load-balancing and/or failover. Web content filtering and user access control is comprehensively covered, as well as security for both wired and wireless users. VPN connectivity for connecting branch offices and teleworkers is extensive too. The Draytek Vigor 2830 series is the premier choice for Small and Medium Business (SME) Internet connectivity.
The Draytek Vigor 2920 series provides dual Ethernet WAN ports, ideal for any Internet connection provided on an Ethernet interface. On the LAN side, it has four Gigabit network ports. The USB port provides access for a shared printer, a 3G USB dongle for connection to cellular networks or a simple NAS (network storage) service. Internet content filtering and VPN are both comprehensively supported.
The Draytek Vigor 3200 series provides four Ethernet WAN ports, intended for installations where you have multiple WAN feeds which you wish to load balance across (to increase total Internet capacity/bandwidth). The router can distribute the traffic automatically across your WAN connections, or according to traffic type/destination.
DrayTek's range of security firewalls with SSL VPN include the Vigor 2930, Vigor 2955 and the VigorPro 5510 UTM device (with anti-spam/anti-virus). As well as their usual security features, these units enable you to create VPN tunnels for teleworkers or other mobile users. This uses industry standard methods and is ideal for a flexible but secure method which gets around some of the connectivity issues of using IPSec on varied networks. These models also support VPN Trunking which can make use of two WAN connections to make a single, larger VPN tunnel, and VPN backup where a VPN can automatically switch to a secondary WAN port in case of a primary failure.
The Draytek Vigor 3900 is an Enterprise class security router/firewall providing Gigabit throughput and capacity for 500 VPN tunnels, including both IPSec and SSL VPN types and support for both IPv4 and IPv6. The Vigor 3900 features four WAN ports (Gigabit Ethernet and SFP-Fibre) and can be set into High-Availability mode (mirroring) to provide your WAN infrastructure with even more fault-tolerance.
